Cancellation & Refund Policy – Ramthamedia Publications

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from Ramthamedia Publications, including Digital eBooks (Instant Downloads) and Print Books (India-Only Delivery).
By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Product Categories We Offer

We sell two types of products:

a) Digital eBooks (Worldwide Delivery – Instant Download)

  • Delivered electronically
  • Instant access via download link & email
  • No physical shipping

b) Print Books (India-Only Delivery)

  • Shipped within India
  • Courier delivery via Delhivery / DTDC / SpeedPost etc.
  • Requires valid Indian address & mobile number

Cancellation and refund rules differ for each product type.

2. Cancellation Policy – Digital eBooks (Instant Downloads)

Digital eBooks are delivered instantly after successful payment through:

  • Download link on the order confirmation page
  • Email delivery
  • Account → Downloads (if account created)

Because digital files are generated and delivered immediately with a personal watermark, cancellations are NOT allowed once payment is completed.

❌ Digital eBook orders cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.

This includes cases such as:

  • Wrong book ordered
  • Changed your mind
  • Incorrect email entered
  • Delay in checking email
  • Download issues on your device
  • Expired download link

If any technical issue occurs, we will re-deliver the file manually after verification.

3. Cancellation Policy – Print Books (India Only)

Print Books enter printing and packing soon after the order is placed.
Therefore, cancellations are time-sensitive.

✔ Cancellation Allowed ONLY IF:

  • Order has not entered printing, and
  • Order has not been packed or shipped

If your order status is still “Processing”, you may request cancellation.

❌ Cancellation NOT Allowed IF:

  • Printing has started
  • Book is already packed
  • Order is shipped
  • Courier has accepted the parcel
  • Delivery is in progress

Once the order reaches Printing / Shipped stage → cancellation is not possible.

4. How to Request a Cancellation (Print Books Only)

To request cancellation before printing/shipping:

Include:

  • Full Name
  • Order ID
  • Email Address
  • Reason for cancellation

We will confirm if your order is eligible.

5. Refund Policy

a) Digital eBooks

❌ No refunds — all digital eBook sales are final.

b) Approved Print Book Cancellations

If cancellation is approved (before printing/shipping):

✔ Refund will be issued as per payment gateway timelines
✔ Refund Processing Time: 3–7 business days

Payment gateway transaction fees are non-refundable.

c) No Refund After Delivery

Delivered print books are not eligible for refund.
Only replacement is possible for damaged or defective orders (see below).

6. Replacement Policy for Print Books (India Only)

You are eligible for a free replacement if your print book is:

  • Damaged
  • Misprinted
  • Incorrect
  • Missing pages

Replacement Requirements (within 24–48 hours):

Send us:

  • Photos/videos of the issue
  • Photos of the package
  • Order ID & contact details

If replacement cannot be arranged, a refund may be provided.

7. Orders Placed by Mistake

Digital eBooks

❌ Cannot be cancelled or refunded after payment.

Print Books

✔ Can be cancelled only if printing/shipping has not started.

8. Delivery Failures

Digital eBooks

Delivery may fail due to incorrect email / spam folder / browser issues.
We will manually re-send the file within 0–24 hours.

Print Books

Delivery may fail due to wrong address, wrong phone number, or customer unavailability.
Such failures are not eligible for refund.

Courier delays will be assisted, but are outside our control.

9. Payment Debited But Order Not Generated

If payment is deducted but order not received:

We will:

  • Deliver the eBook manually, OR
  • Process the print book, OR
  • Issue a refund (as per rules)

10. Fraudulent or Abusive Cancellations

False or fraudulent cancellation attempts may lead to:

  • Order blocking
  • Account suspension
  • Reporting to payment gateways / RBI
  • Legal action, if required

We follow strict RBI and payment gateway guidelines.
